Who We Are

5G Communications (previously Universal Telecom Ltd) started trading in 1998, providing quality calls at competitive rates to the SME business markets across the UK, through a Tier 1 carrier. The company grew year by year and in 2003 was able to provide Line rental services for Analogue, ISDN2 and ISDN30 products at reduced rates. Whilst continuing to grow its customer base, Universal was recognising more telecommunication requirements of its customers and similar businesses, and since 2006 has been investing in training and product knowledge of IP telephony and PBX solutions, in order to be able to offer its customers a complete solution for their telecommunication needs. More recently in 2008 5G Communications has been able to supply mobile telephony services as well as offering competitive rates for airtime, line rentals, handsets and equipment etc.

What We Do

5G provides businesses with a complete range of telecom services for business users, offering high quality call and line services along with new ranges of PBX and IP products to deal with todays business communication needs. This includes Airtime (Calls) at competitive rates, competitive rental rates on any Analogue, ISDN2 and ISDN30 lines and services as well as installations of new Lines. Ranges of telecom systems (PBX) from the smallest to 600+ extensions and taking advantage of IP telephony where required. Universal also offers number portability solutions through its IP telephony products SIP trunks and Communicator products, as well as Non Geographic numbers such as 0800 and income earning 0844 and 0871 numbers. 5G also offers comprehensive business mobile telephone and broadband packages. All of these services and products can be billed together and dealt with through one point of contact.
